Obsession Fans Are Not Happy with Nikki Freeman’s Fortnite Skin

Fortnite’s Fortnitemares collaboration with the horror film *Obsession* has sparked disagreement among fans over the Nikki Freeman character skin. Some viewers say featuring Nikki treats her traumatic experience as entertainment, while others see the skin as an empowering choice that gives the character prominence.

In *Obsession*, Nikki is placed under a spell that forces her into a relationship with Bear, while her real self remains trapped inside her body. The Fortnite release includes a Nikki cosmetic bundle and a One Wish Willow sprite, alongside horror figures such as Freddy Krueger and Slender Man. Fans have also pointed to other game collaborations featuring characters with traumatic pasts, and it remains unclear whether the film’s cast or director will comment.
