Vape shop manager, 53, who sexually assaulted underage girls who came in to illegally get e-cigarettes is jailed

Daily Mail ·

A 53-year-old vape shop manager in Poole has been jailed for sexually exploiting teenage girls who came to buy e-cigarettes illegally. The case shows how he used free vapes to facilitate abuse and has prompted action by police and Trading Standards.

Dilshaw Omar Kawani was convicted at Bournemouth Crown Court of seven offences of sexual assault and inciting a child to engage in sexual activity. He received an eight-year prison sentence and a 12-year sexual harm prevention order on 15 October. Some vapes he gave the girls contained THC, a Class B drug; illegal vapes were seized when the shop was closed after a joint operation, and it has since reopened under new management.
