Everything We Know About The ‘Fourth Wing’ TV Show So Far

Amazon MGM Studios has given Rebecca Yarros’ *Fourth Wing* adaptation a series order, moving the project beyond its earlier development stage. The fantasy series follows a young woman pushed into dragon-rider training, and its progress matters to fans of the bestselling books as the planned adaptation takes shape.

Lisa Joy will executive produce and direct the pilot, with Michael B. Jordan’s Outlier Society, Joy’s Kilter Films and Premediated Productions also producing. Meredith Averill is confirmed as showrunner, while Esther McGregor will play Violet Sorrengail and Emilio Sakraya will play Xaden. The five-book series has three published novels, and further seasons based on later books may depend on the first season’s success.
