Explained simply
Hitman: Absolution is a stealth action game in which players take the role of Agent 47, a contract killer who tries to complete missions while avoiding detection. It was originally released for older consoles and has since been made available on Nintendo Switch.
The Nintendo Switch 2 Edition is an updated version for Nintendo’s newer console, with sharper graphics and additional features. Players who own the original Switch version can access the upgrade, while the game is also being sold separately.
The changes matter to Switch owners deciding whether to keep playing the original or move to the updated version. A physical edition is also planned, offering a cartridge or boxed copy for collectors and players who prefer to buy games in shops.
