Watch My Chemical Romance bring out ‘Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders’ for ‘Teenagers’ at Hollywood Bowl
My Chemical Romance brought a mock Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders troupe on stage during “Teenagers” at the opening night of their Hollywood Bowl residency. The staged routine, in which performers with fake rifles appeared to defend the band before crawling off after being “shot”, added a theatrical twist to a show marking 20 years of *The Black Parade*.
The band played the album in full alongside other hits, beginning a five-night run that makes them the first act to perform five consecutive nights at the venue. The tour has already visited the UK and Europe, and a new expanded anniversary edition of *The Black Parade* includes six bonus tracks. Gerard Way has also said the band hopes to make another record, though he gave no timeframe.
