TONY IOMMI Shares Lyric Video For ‘Over The Violent Sun’ From Long-Awaited New Solo Album ‘From The Dark’

Tony Iommi has released “Over The Violent Sun”, the opening track from his first solo album in 21 years, *From The Dark*. The album is out today, 23 October, and marks a return to solo work after Iommi’s commitments to Black Sabbath and other projects.

Iommi is joined by vocalist Jorn Lande, who co-wrote all the songs, bassist Becky Baldwin and drummer Karl Brazil. He said he began by recording instrumental ideas before deciding to write for a vocalist, and was able to develop the album gradually in his home studio with long-time collaborator and co-producer Mike Exeter.
