Bad Wolves Unveil New Version of “Jolene” Cover with Dolly Parton’s Vocals: Stream

Bad Wolves have released a new version of their “Jolene” cover featuring Dolly Parton’s vocals, after an earlier version came out without her. The collaboration fulfils the band’s original plan to record with Parton and brings attention to her Imagination Library charity.

Parton’s team supplied previously recorded vocal stems, which Kent Wells mixed for the release. Bad Wolves singer Sara “Killboy” Skinner and Parton trade lines and join on the chorus over heavy guitars and a breakdown; the accompanying video features students from Nashville’s School of Rock. Proceeds from the track will go to the Imagination Library.
