New QUEENSRŸCHE Music Sounds Like ‘Rage For Order’ And ‘The Warning’: ‘This Is Gonna Be A Really Good Album’
Queensrÿche are writing the follow-up to their 2022 album, *Digital Noise Alliance*, and say the new material recalls the sound of their early albums *The Warning* and *Rage for Order*. The description suggests a return to the band’s earlier style, while the members say touring has made it difficult to find the time and focus needed to create a record.
Singer Todd La Torre said the guitarists have been developing ideas in separate sessions with producer Zeuss, and he plans to work on vocals and melodies before the band makes further arrangements. He said the group plays about 100 shows a year and that he cannot force creativity while travelling. Guitarist Michael Wilton said the band now has to balance recording with paid live offers and a changed economy; no release date was given.
In short
- Queensrÿche are working on a follow-up to their 2022 album.
