Prime Video Officially Drops Jake Gyllenhaal’s Genre-Defining Sci-Fi Thriller
*Source Code*, Jake Gyllenhaal’s 2011 time-loop thriller, is leaving the Howdy add-on on Prime Video on 1 November. The film follows a passenger who repeatedly relives the moments before a train explosion, trying to prevent it; its departure means viewers have limited time to stream it there.
Directed by Duncan Jones, the film also stars Michelle Monaghan, Vera Farmiga and Jeffrey Wright. Made for a reported $32 million, it earned nearly $150 million worldwide and has a 92% Rotten Tomatoes score, just above *Edge of Tomorrow*’s 91%.
