Arla recalls protein puddings over possible glass contamination

Daily Mail ·

Arla Foods has withdrawn its chocolate, salted caramel and vanilla cookie protein puddings after a warning that some pots may contain glass. The Food Standards Agency (FSA) advised customers to check the dates and return affected products or throw them away, making this a food safety alert for anyone who has bought the puddings.

Affected chocolate pots have best before dates of 11, 18 or 20 January 2027, or 6 February 2027. Salted caramel pots dated 21 or 23 January, or 31 January or 2 February 2027 are also included, as is vanilla cookie dated 25 January 2027; the dates appear in a white box on the packaging. Customers can return the pots for a full refund or contact Arla at [email protected] for more information, and the company has apologised.

In short

  • Arla withdrew three protein pudding flavours over possible glass contamination.
  • Check the best before dates printed on the pot.
  • Return affected products for a full refund or throw them away.

Explained simply

Arla Foods is a dairy company that makes products including protein puddings. In the UK, the Food Standards Agency (FSA) issues food safety alerts and advises people on what to do when a product may pose a risk.

Food recalls ask customers to stop using specified products and follow the maker’s or FSA’s advice. Checking the product details matters because an alert may apply only to certain flavours or date codes; returning an affected item or throwing it away can help avoid harm.
