Stalker 2’s next update has already leaked
PlayStation Asia appears to have revealed Stalker 2: Heart of Chornobyl’s unannounced 2.1 update ahead of schedule. The leak matters because it points to changes in how players spot and fight NPCs, alongside a new fast-travel option.
A graphic for the update, titled “The Zone Lookout”, said it was already available, though it is reportedly due next week and the post remained live at the time of writing. It lists a longer visualisation range for A-Life NPCs, related combat and ballistics adjustments, fast travel with squad leaders, and other fixes, but offers few details. Update 2.0 arrived on 20 August with the Cost of Hope expansion, binoculars, a fog mechanic and A-Life changes.
In short
- PlayStation Asia appears to have leaked Stalker 2 update 2.1.
- The update reportedly arrives next week.
- Listed changes include squad leader fast travel and combat adjustments.
