One of the Decade’s Greatest Sitcoms Is Finally Free To Stream 8 Years Later
*Detroiters* is now available to stream for free on Pluto TV, giving viewers another chance to discover a sitcom that was overlooked when it debuted in 2017. Created by Detroit natives Tim Robinson and Sam Richardson, the series combines offbeat comedy with an affectionate portrait of the city.
The show follows best friends Tim Cramblin and Sam Duvet as they work at Tim’s family-owned advertising company, making cheap commercials for local businesses. Its strange characters and surreal adverts sit alongside themes of friendship, family and work, while the series’ warm tone makes it distinct from Robinson’s more uncomfortable later comedy.
In short
- *Detroiters* is streaming free on Pluto TV.
- Tim Robinson and Sam Richardson created and star in it.
