ALEX SKOLNICK TRIO’s Live Performance At New York City’s The Iridium To Be Recorded For Future Release
The Alex Skolnick Trio will record its final performance of 2026 at New York’s Iridium on Sunday, 25 October, for a future live release. The concert gives the group a chance to capture its genre-crossing guitar-led sound in a club associated with Les Paul’s regular performances.
Guitarist Ron Jackson will open in a duo with Skolnick and later join the trio, which also features bassist Nathan Peck and drummer Matt Zebroski. The band’s sixth album, *Prove You’re Not A Robot*, came out in 2025 and includes a swing arrangement of Tom Petty’s “Breakdown”; Skolnick is also known for his work with Testament and his jazz studies in Manhattan.
