Explained simply
Gaza is a Palestinian territory where repeated conflict and restrictions have affected daily life and access to healthcare. Health workers there treat patients amid these conditions, while also facing risks and shortages of medical supplies.
Life Support is a documentary about medics working in Gaza, directed by Daniele Rugo and narrated by actor Denise Gough. Robert Del Naja, a musician in the band Massive Attack, curated its soundtrack, which features artists including Kneecap, Paul Weller and Yasmine Hamdan.
Health Workers 4 Palestine is a movement supporting healthcare workers in Palestine. The soundtrack’s charity vinyl links the film’s focus on medical work to fundraising for that movement.
