Two Albanians jailed after £500,000 cannabis farm hidden in underground bunkers straight out of Guy Ritchie’s The Gentlemen are unearthed

Daily Mail ·

Police uncovered an estimated £500,000 cannabis farm in underground rooms beneath a rural site near Wolston, Warwickshire. Gjergivatal Pjeter, 33, and Eldoh Sylaj, 31, have each been jailed for 22 months after admitting involvement in producing cannabis.

Officers found the hidden rooms through a hatch in a shipping container during a raid on 19 August, when five people were arrested; only Pjeter and Sylaj were charged. Warwick Crown Court also ordered both men to pay a £187 victim surcharge and directed that the cannabis be destroyed. The concealed set-up was compared by police to the fictional operation in Guy Ritchie’s film The Gentlemen.
