Hayley Silvertown named Chief Legal and Business Affairs Officer at Create Music Group
Create Music Group has appointed Hayley Silvertown as Chief Legal and Business Affairs Officer, putting her in charge of its legal and business affairs work and involving her in strategic deals, investments and partnerships. The move brings a long-time adviser into the leadership team as the company continues to expand through acquisitions and other deals.
Silvertown advised Create as outside counsel for more than three years, including on acquisitions and its first institutional equity raise: $165 million led by Flexpoint Ford, which valued the company at $1 billion in 2024. She joins from Paul Hastings and has also worked at Willkie Farr & Gallagher, Sheppard Mullin, ICM and Warner Chappell Music. In March 2026, Create raised more than $450 million in equity and debt, reaching a $2.2 billion valuation; its recent activity includes an investment of more than $300 million in Nettwerk Music Group and a minority stake in DistroKid.
