Explained simply
Actors often have several representatives who handle different parts of their careers. A manager helps guide an actor’s choices and career planning, while an agency such as CAA typically works on securing roles and negotiating deals.
Miles Teller is an American actor known for films including Top Gun: Maverick. LBI Entertainment is a management firm, and Rick Yorn and Scott Greenberg are managers there; Teller’s existing representation includes CAA, The Initiative Group and his lawyers.
Teller’s recent films have reached large audiences, and his upcoming work includes Paper Tiger, directed by James Gray and co-starring Adam Driver and Scarlett Johansson. Changes in representation can matter because managers may help shape which projects an actor pursues and how their career develops.
