Christine And The Queens announces new single and intimate UK and European winter shows

NME ·

Christine and the Queens has announced a new single and four intimate winter shows, marking a return to releasing music and performing live. The announcement follows hints earlier this month that new music was ready to be shared.

The track appears to be titled ‘Rendez-Vous Avec Toi’ and is due on 4 November. The concerts are in Brussels on 1 December, London on 7 December, Amsterdam on 8 December and Paris on 10 December; tickets go on sale on 2 November. The artist’s last album as Christine and the Queens was 2023’s ‘Paranoïa, Angels, True Love’, followed by the 2024 album ‘Hopecore’ under the name Rahim Redcar.

In short

  • New single expected on 4 November
  • Four winter shows announced across Europe
  • Tickets go on sale on 2 November

Explained simply

Christine and the Queens is the stage name used by French singer and songwriter Héloïse Letissier. The project began in 2010 and became known for pop music that blends electronic sounds with theatrical performance.

Letissier has also released music under the name Rahim Redcar. The 2023 album Paranoïa, Angels, True Love was the last released under the Christine and the Queens name, while Hopecore followed in 2024 as Rahim Redcar.

The different names reflect changes in how Letissier presents her music and artistic identity. The new release and winter performances bring attention back to the Christine and the Queens project after that period of releases under another name.
