Beyoncé, Zendaya and Halle Berry’s Go-To Red Carpet Designer Launches Affordable H&M Collection
Elie Saab has partnered with H&M on a collection that brings the Lebanese designer’s ornate eveningwear style to a more accessible price range. The collaboration matters because it gives shoppers a lower-cost route to designs associated with major red carpet appearances by stars including Beyoncé, Zendaya and Halle Berry.
The 55-piece range includes gowns, sequined blazers, lace separates, outerwear, menswear, bags, shoes and jewellery, with prices starting at $39.99. Featured items include a $269 sequined bandeau dress, a $219 fluffy jacket and a $429 embellished dress; the collection is available online and in selected stores. Saab, whose fashion house was founded in Beirut in 1982, has previously dressed Halle Berry for her 2002 Oscar win, and the H&M deal follows the retailer’s collaborations with labels such as Versace and Balmain.
