SKID ROW’s SCOTTI HILL On New Singer JUSTIN SARGENT: It Feels ‘Like He’s Always Been Here’

SKID ROW guitarist Scotti Hill says new singer Justin Sargent fitted naturally into the band from their first rehearsal and recording sessions. The group announced Sargent on 29 October, introducing him with a cover of The Who’s “Won’t Get Fooled Again”.

Hill said Sargent was recommended by the band’s manager and impressed the musicians with his singing, confidence and energy. After rehearsing with him over two days, the band spent time getting to know him and completed recording, rehearsals and a video before making the announcement. Sargent has performed in Broadway shows including “Rock of Ages” and “Jesus Christ Superstar”, as well as appearing in several television dramas.
