The Celebrity Traitors finale – LIVE
Developing story first seen 3 hours ago
Faithfuls Sebastian Croft and Romesh Ranganathan won the second series of The Celebrity Traitors after Traitors King Kenny and Maya Jama were banished in the finale. The result followed James Acaster’s admission that he had been secretly recruited as a Traitor, which disrupted their run and helped turn the game around.
Acaster had reluctantly accepted the role after Richard E. Grant and Jama recruited him, and Jama later chose to leave after Michael Sheen worked out her identity. Faithful James Blunt was also banished despite his confident suspicions. The series drew 15 million viewers, though the article says its Traitor storyline struggled to build momentum and the finale felt underwhelming.

Explained simply
The Celebrity Traitors is a reality game in which public figures try to identify hidden Traitors among their fellow contestants. The Traitors secretly eliminate players, while the group can banish someone it suspects at regular votes.
Players must weigh what others say against how they behave, often with little evidence. Viewers see an edited programme, so events on screen may not show everything contestants experienced during filming.
