Touchscreens everywhere!
Installer No. 150 is a weekly roundup of technology, apps, games and entertainment. Its featured products include a redesigned iPad mini and an Alexa-enabled photo frame, alongside updates and recommendations that show how devices are taking on more everyday roles.
The writer highlights the iPad mini’s lighter, thinner design and potential water and dust resistance, despite its lack of a ProMotion display. Amazon’s $200 Alexa Photo Frame is presented as a more affordable smart-home option than the $500 Echo Show 16. Other picks include the revived Mac note-taking app nvAlt, Readwise Books and No Man’s Sky for recent iPhones and iPads, while the $1,700 Matic Serene robot vacuum is described as hard to justify.
In short
- A lighter, potentially water-resistant iPad mini is among the featured products.
