Explained simply
Fortnite is an online game in which players explore a map, collect equipment and compete to be the last player or team standing. The game regularly introduces limited-time seasons and events, adding new characters, locations and items.
Non-player characters, or NPCs, are characters controlled by the game rather than by other players. In Treasure Hunters, players can find and recruit eight NPCs during a match; Pirate Shop Tokens are a separate event item that can unlock selected shop items, which usually cost the game’s virtual currency, V-Bucks.
The mini-season includes content themed around One Piece, a Japanese manga and animated series about pirates. These additions give players new things to discover and collect while playing.
