Queen Fans Dreaming of a Las Vegas Sphere Residency Might Not Like Brian May’s Latest Update

Brian May says he has no clear update on whether Queen will perform a residency at Las Vegas’s Sphere, despite continuing to consider what a concert there might involve. The prospect remains uncertain, so fans hoping for an announcement may have to wait.

May said he is enjoying a break, spending time with his children and grandchildren and pursuing other projects, though he has not ruled out returning to the road. He does not expect to commit to another nine-month tour. He is interested in the Sphere’s 360-degree setting and imagines a Queen production shaped by the band’s own history, rather than copying ABBA’s show.
