Their projects range from portraits of Chilean writer Alejandro Zambra and Argentine singer Mercedes Sosa to stories about older people, gender roles and environmental pressures on Indigenous communities.
The showcase brings established producers together with directors earlier in their careers. It offers a view of the subjects and filmmakers gaining attention in the region’s film industry, while connecting unfinished films with people who may help them reach audiences.
