Panchiko Announces 2027 US Tour Behind New Album Chimera
Panchiko have announced a US tour in support of their forthcoming album, *Chimera*, with dates from 13 April to 15 May 2027. The tour’s scale reflects the Nottingham band’s revival: after their early release *D>E>A>T>H>M>E>T>A* was rediscovered online, they reunited and began reaching audiences much larger than those of their original run.
The 19-date tour starts in San Antonio and ends in Mesa, with stops including New York, Philadelphia, Boston, Denver, Seattle and Inglewood. *Chimera* is due on 9 April via Nettwerk; its lead single, “One Car Hits Another”, features Mei Semones. Tickets go on sale from 6 November at 10am local time, and the shows will feature a rotating group of support acts, including billy woods, Korea Girl and Puzzle.
In short
- Panchiko will tour the US from April to May 2027.
- The dates support their album *Chimera*, due 9 April.
- Tickets go on sale on 6 November at 10am local time.
Explained simply
Panchiko are an alternative rock band from Nottingham. They first released music in the late 1990s, then came to wider attention after listeners rediscovered an early release online years later, prompting the band to reunite and reach a new audience.
Their story spans two very different periods: an initial run with limited recognition and a later revival among listeners who found their old music online. That shift helps explain why the band now tours widely in the United States, where they have built a following beyond their original audience.
