2026’s Best RPG Is Finally on Consoles Just in Time for GOTY Season
Zero Parades: For Dead Spies has received a Director’s Cut release on Nintendo Switch 2, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X, expanding the role-playing game beyond its original PC release. Its arrival gives more players access to a story-driven espionage game that the reviewer says stands on its own despite comparisons with ZA/UM’s earlier hit, Disco Elysium.
Players follow Hershel Wilk, a disgraced spy sent to Portofiro for one final mission after a previous operation ended badly. She must regain the trust of people she betrayed while recruiting them for another risky undertaking, creating tension between her efforts to apologise and the deception her job requires. The game uses dice rolls and skill checks, and its Director’s Cut includes new content.
In short
- Zero Parades’ Director’s Cut is now on consoles.
- The story follows a disgraced spy seeking redemption.
- Dice rolls shape a mission built on betrayal and trust.
