GTA VI’s download will need up to 212GB of hard drive space

Rockstar Games says pre-loading Grand Theft Auto VI will require up to 212GB of storage, depending on the device. The size means players may need to free up substantial space before launch, particularly as the game is available digitally.

Pre-loading begins on PlayStation 5 at midnight local time on 10 November and on Xbox Series X|S at 12am GMT that day. GTA VI launches on 19 November for $79.99; physical editions will contain a download code rather than the game on disc.
