First Phantom Blade Zero PS5 Update Makes an Early, Deadly Boss Easier

The first major update for Phantom Blade Zero has reduced the frequency of Hua, Deadly Betrothed’s grab attacks on the two lower difficulty settings. The change makes an early optional boss less punishing for players on Wayfarer or Pathbreaker, while leaving the harder modes unchanged.

Update 1.3 is available now on PS5 and PC. The PS5 version also adds separate settings for hit sound and impact sound intensity; the developer lists performance improvements in some areas, adjusted combat behaviour for selected enemies and bosses, and improved weapon feedback among the other changes.
