Is This Goodbye? Watch the Final Moments of What Could Be Aerosmith’s Last-Ever Concert
Aerosmith’s two-night “Aerosmith & Friends: California Dream On” concert at the Hollywood Bowl offered fans a possible farewell after Steven Tyler’s larynx injury cut short the band’s 2023 tour. Tyler’s return to the stage and the celebratory finale left the group’s future uncertain, but he signalled he was not ready to quit.
The second night featured Grace Potter, Heart, the Black Crowes and Guns N’ Roses, alongside songs including “Livin’ on the Edge”, “Barracuda” and “Sweet Child o’ Mine”. Tyler closed with “Toys in the Attic”, “Dream On” and “The Train Kept A-Rollin’”, as fireworks filled the sky. Responding to comedian Bill Burr’s claim that these were the band’s final shows, Tyler joked that Aerosmith could not be got rid of and would perform “at the end of the world”.
