Trump Spends Election Night Rage Posting About Fox News

Donald Trump criticised Fox News on Truth Social as early results from the US midterm elections came in, blaming its coverage of Democrats for falling ratings. The posts matter because they show renewed tension between Trump and the network, which he accused of opposing him.

Trump cited a 27% ratings decline and claimed his own standing among Republicans was strong, while also questioning Fox Corporation’s political donations to Democratic candidates and groups. Fox CEO Lachlan Murdoch had said viewers were watching less television overall, and early returns showed Republicans losing closely watched Senate races in North Carolina and New Hampshire.
