Joel Kim Booster to Host Jackson Wild and Hollywood Climate Summit Media Awards

Joel Kim Booster will host the first joint Jackson Wild and Hollywood Climate Summit Media Awards in Los Angeles on 10 November. The ceremony recognises nature and climate storytelling across film, television, games and digital media, and marks the first awards event under the organisations’ partnership announced in March.

Actor Matthew Lawrence will be a guest presenter. Jackson Wild will give its 2026 Legacy Awards to documentarian Louie Psihoyos, whose film *The Cove* won an Oscar, and Monterey Bay Aquarium co-founder Julie Packard. Finalists include *The Wild Robot*, *The Last of Us*, *A Gorilla Story: Told by David Attenborough* and *Shark Whisperer*; winners will be announced at the ceremony, which will stream on Context Collaborative’s YouTube channel.
