‘It’s just magical’ – Stacey to return to NW200
Storm Stacey will return to the North West 200 in 2027 after winning both Superstock and Superbike races on his debut at the road-racing event. His first-visit double made him one of only 27 newcomers to win at the NW200 on their first attempt, and brought him acclaim from spectators.
The 23-year-old beat Michael Dunlop in the Superstock race, then held off Dean Harrison and Glenn Irwin in the feature Superbike event. Stacey will race for GRYD Racing alongside Irwin, using BMW 1000 RR machines, and will also compete in the British Superbike Championship, where he finished 13th in 2026.
