Dierks Bentley Once Got Kicked Out of the Grand Ole Opry—Now He’s Aging Bourbon Inside Its Walls
Dierks Bentley’s bourbon brand, ROW 94, is preparing a limited release called Trespasser’s Proof, inspired by his younger years sneaking into Nashville music venues, including the Grand Ole Opry. The Opry once restricted his visits, but Bentley later became a member and has now been invited to age part of the bourbon on its premises.
The four-barrel batch began its minimum four-year ageing at Green River Distilling Co. in Kentucky before being moved to a secure area at the Opry. It will be finished with hard white oak and sugar maple, the same types of wood used in the Opry stage circle, and is due for release in early 2027. Bentley also plans to sell it online and through selected bars and retailers, including his Nashville tasting room.
In short
- Bentley’s bourbon was moved to the Grand Ole Opry for ageing.
- Trespasser’s Proof is a four-barrel limited release due in 2027.
- Its name recalls Bentley’s past as an unauthorised Opry visitor.
