Explained simply
Pikmin 4 is a strategy adventure game made by Nintendo. Players explore a planet, gather small plant-like creatures called Pikmin and direct them to move objects, fight hazards and complete tasks.
The game is part of a series that began on Nintendo’s GameCube. Its upcoming Switch 2 Edition is intended for Nintendo’s newer console, while the original version was released for the first Switch; updates may apply to one or both systems.
The Switch 2 Edition is also linked to Dandori Academy, a mode focused on planning and completing tasks efficiently. A separate demo lets players try part of the game before deciding whether to buy it.
