Who am I? Plus today’s other quizzes
BBC Sport’s page invites readers to play a footballer guessing quiz, with clues revealed after each incorrect attempt. It also points to three other daily quizzes and related football and sports quiz collections.
Players are challenged to score points by identifying the footballer using as few clues as possible. The page also mentions a five-question quiz with a five-minute limit, a difficult question with five lives, and quizzes on clubs and Lionesses’ England caps.
In short
- Guess the footballer using as few clues as possible.
- The page links to three other daily quizzes.
- Other challenges cover clubs and Lionesses’ caps.
Explained simply
Football quizzes test how well readers recognise players, teams and sporting records from clues or short questions. They may draw on facts such as a player’s club career or how many times someone has represented England.
The Lionesses are England’s women’s national football team, and a cap is an appearance in an international match. Quizzes about clubs or international appearances are one way to explore football history and compare knowledge of the men’s and women’s games.
