Olivier Dahan’s Period Drama ‘Nana’ Kicks Off Marvelous Productions, Kapa Studios Pact (EXCLUSIVE)
French company Marvelous Productions and Greece’s Kapa Studios are forming a partnership to develop and produce films and television for European and international audiences. Their first project is Olivier Dahan’s period drama *Nana*, an adaptation of Émile Zola’s novel, which will lead into plans for a series and may be followed by further projects.
*Nana* is supported by France Télévisions, Canal+ and France’s CNC, and is co-produced and distributed by ARP. The collaboration will draw on Greece’s production incentives, including a 40% cash rebate, and Kapa’s expanded facilities. Marvelous, founded in 2017 by former Pathé executives, has produced or co-produced 15 films; Kapa operates 12 sound stages covering 250,000 square feet.
