Wife smeared her own faeces in husband’s mouth at their £1million farmhouse during argument about ‘not standing up for her’ at the pub

Alison Moore, 63, was sentenced after pleading guilty to three counts of assault occasioning actual bodily harm against her husband. The court heard that during an argument at their farmhouse in Damerham, she pushed him onto a bed and smeared faeces in his mouth, saying he should “eat” what he talked.

Prosecutors described the attack as premeditated and said the assaults had taken place over a lengthy period. Her husband also reported being struck with a broom handle and hit in the face; photographs showed injuries from incidents in March 2024 and August 2026. The court heard that Moore regretted her actions and had sought help for depression and alcohol use; the judge said her personal difficulties did not excuse the abuse.
