Liquid Mike – “Inanimate Object”

Liquid Mike have released the new single “Inanimate Object”, a fuzzed-out power-pop song about what happens after death. The release comes as the Marquette, Michigan band tours with Oso Oso, and continues its run of energetic new music.

The band’s latest album, *Hell Is An Airport*, came out a little over a year ago, followed by the standalone single “Drowning Machine” in May. Fronted by Mike Maple, Liquid Mike previously released records at a rapid pace while relatively obscure; touring has slowed that output, though the article describes the new track as maintaining the band’s energy and quality. The song’s video was directed by Bob Sweeney.
