Sinner parts ways with coach Cahill after five-year run
Jannik Sinner has announced that coach Darren Cahill is leaving his team after five years, bringing to an end a partnership that helped take the Italian from a rising talent to the top of tennis. Sinner thanked Cahill for his influence on him as both a player and a person.
Media reports say Swede Magnus Norman is poised to join Sinner’s team alongside Simone Vagnozzi, who began working with him in 2022. Norman previously guided Robin Soderling to two French Open finals and Stan Wawrinka to three Grand Slam titles; Sinner, meanwhile, has been sidelined by a persistent knee injury since winning Wimbledon in July and is expected to return in December.
