Sony’s MDR-3R headphones are taking us right back to the Upside Down this Stranger Things Day
Sony has announced a limited-edition Stranger Things version of its MDR-3R wired headphones, pairing a retro-inspired design with colours and branding linked to the series. The release gives fans a themed alternative to the standard model, while updating the original look with modern audio features and USB-C power.
The edition costs $79 in the US or £59 in the UK, compared with $59 or £49 for the standard headphones. It comes with red and black ear cushions and a Stranger Things logo on the headband; standard versions have blue or orange cushions. The lightweight, open-back headphones include an inline remote and microphone, and Sony says it has extended the sound range while retaining the original profile. The limited edition was announced but was not yet available on Sony’s website.
