Rock en Seine cancel 2027 festival due to “unprecedented factors”
Rock en Seine has cancelled its 2027 festival, citing unprecedented constraints beyond organisers’ control. Planned development work around the Domaine national de Saint-Cloud is expected to make access harder and affect the conditions needed to host the event, so organisers say they cannot deliver a festival that meets their ambitions and audience expectations.
The Paris festival is expected to return to the same site from 23 to 27 August 2028. Organisers say they are considering a different event in 2027 to keep the festival’s spirit alive, though no details have been confirmed. Recent headliners have included Tyler, the Creator, Nick Cave and the Bad Seeds, The Cure, Deftones, Turnstile, and Amyl and the Sniffers.
In short
- Rock en Seine has cancelled its 2027 festival.
- Site development work will complicate access and hosting.
- The festival is due back from 23 to 27 August 2028.
