Pulp star surprises customers at popular Sheffield restaurant loved by famous faces

Pulp drummer Nick Banks surprised diners during a visit to Prithiraj, an Indian restaurant on Ecclesall Road in Sheffield. The appearance follows the band’s recent recognition on Sheffield’s Legends Walk of Fame, and highlights the restaurant’s popularity with local celebrities.

Prithiraj shared a photo of Banks on Instagram and noted that he was celebrating its 2026 Westside Award for Best Indian Restaurant in South Yorkshire. The restaurant has also welcomed Sheffield United manager Chris Wilder and midfielder Oliver Arblaster.
