Nubank halts crypto withdrawals, deposits after external provider disruption

Nubank temporarily halted cryptocurrency deposits and withdrawals after an unnamed external data provider experienced disruptions. The interruption affects customers’ ability to move crypto through the service while the provider’s service is unavailable.

The Brazilian digital lender said the issue was unrelated to its own infrastructure and that customer assets and information remain protected. It did not identify the provider or say how long the pause would last, but said operations would resume once the service is restored.
