Cruel Santino Shares New Album ‘K.O.T.B – The Bomberman Chronicles’
Nigerian artist Cruel Santino has released his third studio album, *Kings of the Bounce – The Bomberman Chronicles* (K.O.T.B), through Native Sounds and Warner Records. The narrative record explores grief and communal survival amid the commercialisation of warfare, themes shaped in part by the sudden death of a close friend.
The album is a prequel to 2022’s *Subaru Boys: FINAL HEAVEN*, set 3,000 years before its “Final Heaven” story arc. It follows arms dealers who exploit a fight against sea creatures before humans and the creatures lived in harmony; six singles introduced its blend of atmospheric synths and upbeat Afrobeats. Santino is due to perform at The Trabendo in Paris on Friday 11 December.
