John Wick Creator’s New Action Thriller Gets First Official Trailer

The first trailer has been released for *Karoshi*, an action thriller produced by *John Wick* creator Chad Stahelski and written and directed by Takashi Doscher. Set in near-future Manhattan, the film follows an outsider who infiltrates a corporation to expose its violent treatment of employees, making workplace power and overwork central to its story.

Teo Yoo stars, alongside Cynthia Erivo, Giancarlo Esposito, Takehiro Hira, Isabel May, Bill Camp and Show Kasamatsu. The title means “death by overwork” in Japanese. Stahelski is producing rather than directing; his other projects include a *Highlander* reboot starring Henry Cavill, a fifth *John Wick* film, an animated prequel and the *John Wick* spin-off *Caine*.
