Alex Cooper, Matt Kaplan, Unwell Sign With CAA
CAA has signed Alex Cooper, Matt Kaplan and their company Unwell for representation, as the business seeks to expand and develop original intellectual property. The move builds on Unwell’s growth from a company founded around Cooper’s “Call Her Daddy” podcast into a media and entertainment business aimed at Gen Z women.
Unwell was founded in 2023 and was valued at $500 million after accepting a strategic investment from WTSL in August. Its projects include Hulu’s “Call Her Alexc” documentary, a “Hannah Montana” anniversary special for Disney+ and Netflix’s “Let’s Marry Harry”; forthcoming adaptations include “Icebreaker” and “Deep End”. The Unwell Network launched seven programmes in 2026, including YouTube reality competitions “Unwell Winter Games” and “Unwell Summer Games”.
