In Photos: “The Art of Metallica” Exhibit Opens in San Francisco
‘The Art of Metallica’ exhibition has opened at the Haight Street Art Center in San Francisco, celebrating the artwork linked to the band. Organisers say the city’s history of rock poster art and its close ties to Metallica make it a fitting setting.
The exhibition is open from Thursday to Sunday, noon to 6pm, until 10 January 2027. It opened on 5 November; Metallica are also due to return to Las Vegas’s Sphere in January, play two shows in Connecticut later this month and continue their North American tour in May and June.
In short
- A Metallica art exhibition has opened in San Francisco.
- It runs until 10 January 2027.
- The band has more US shows planned.
