EA HQ Graced With ‘Save Mass Effect’ Truck as N7 Day Looms
Mass Effect fans from the group We are Mass Effect have sent a mobile billboard truck to the streets around Electronic Arts’ headquarters in Redwood City, California, as part of a campaign to support BioWare and the sci-fi series. The effort aims to make the community’s support visible and draw attention to people affected by BioWare’s closure and the franchise being put on hold.
The truck carries a “Save Mass Effect” message, QR code and website address, following an earlier billboard in New York’s Times Square. Another mobile billboard is planned near BioWare’s former offices, with a final one set to circle The Game Awards ceremony next month. The group is also preparing a video for N7 Day on 7 November featuring actors Jennifer Hale and Mark Meer, encouraging fans to play Mass Effect: Legendary Edition, and says a petition has passed 300,000 signatures.
