Prince Harry demoted to lesser role at mental health company after moving back to UK

Prince Harry is leaving his position as chief impact officer at mental health coaching company BetterUp and becoming a senior adviser. The change follows five years on the company’s leadership team and gives him a role focused on selected projects with major business customers.

BetterUp co-founder and chief executive Alexi Robichaux said Harry would work with the company and its enterprise partners, while having more time for investments, business opportunities and philanthropic causes. The company will also continue its partnership with the Invictus Games Foundation to support veterans. Harry joined BetterUp in 2021, and the role change comes amid reports that he and his family plan to spend an extended period in the UK.
